Character Certificate

Docouments required for character certificate are as following:

• Copy of valid CNIC
• Copy of  valid Passport
• 02 Passport size pictures

Driving License

All types of driving licenses, fresh, duplicate , renewals (& international), are issued at the Driving License Branches of all districts of this regaion. details are as under:

• Learner Permit
• Learner Permits are issued on daily basis (on line) with the validity of 6 months. Get a Highway Code Book of traffic rules & regulations when applying for Learner Permit.
• Motor Cycle/Motor Car: 18 Years
• LTV (Rickshaw, Taxi, Tractor Commercial, Hiace): 21 Years
• HTV: 22 Years
• International Licence

Documents required for a learner's permit are as following:

Copy of CNIC

• A ticket of Rs.60 from any Post Office
• Get a code book of trffic rules and regulation from the Traffic Police Office
• Medical Certificate duly signed and stamped by a registered medical practitioner

Regular License Forms

Following are the necessary documents required for regular driving license :

• Copy of CNIC
• 03 Passport size photographs
• Medical certificate (issued by authorized medical practitioner)
• Medical Fitness Certificate (only for the candidates of the age of 50 years or above)
• Application form (A)
• Original learner permit (at least 42 days within validity period)
• Paste relevant ticket on the document

Note: Test will be conducted for regular driving license as per Standing Operating Procedure (SOP)

Renewal License Forms

Following are the necessary documents required for the renewal of license :

• Copy of CNIC
• 2 Passport size photographs
• Medical certificate (issued by authorized medical practitioner)
• Medical Fitness Certificate (only for the candidates of the age of 50 years or above)
• Application form
• Original Driving License
• Relevant tickets

Renewal and Late fee criteria

Following are the necessary documents required for the endorsement of license:

• Endorsement Form (Form-D)
• Copy of CNIC
• 02 Passport size photographs
• Medical certificate (issued by authorized medical practitioner)
• Medical Fitness Certificate (only for the candidates of the age of 50 years or above)
• Original learner permit (at least 42 days within validity period)
• Previous license
• Relevant ticket(s)
